Congee & Me is bringing traditional rice porridge back in style with fun toppings, some extra spunk, and lots of love. It is a twist on the original Chinese breakfast, inspired by how I grew up eating in a Chinese-American household.
Congee is a comfort food that is deeply rooted in Chinese history, traditions, and medicine. With Congee & Me, I hope to honor this familial cultural dish while also introducing it to new diners in a modern way.
I started Congee & Me in San Francisco in 2018 and am excited to now bring it to Boston. I have dreamed of owning my own restaurant since I was a little girl, playing hostess and serving people delicious food every day. Hospitality has always been my calling. I am excited to continue my journey towards my own restaurant and canβt wait to bring you along!
